I Was Beaten As A Child

I was beaten as a child. Both my sister and I were pummeled by a mother who was so viciously and verbally abused by our father that she had to kick the crap out of her children to make any sense of her sorry life. My mother was the most depressed woman I have ever met in my life and now I am well into my 63rd year. The irony that I have become a motivational speaker and writer is more amazing to me with each passing day.
