Labor Day 2010: What are we Doing Here?

Labor Day 2010

I know what you are doing for yourself.

What are you doing for others?

It has long been a labor of love for me to help others build their vocabulary skills.

I certianly never did it for the money.

Armed with an MBA and CPA, I would have been guided to continue to follow that money path and not head into an educational wilderness with no map of my surroundings.

Yet this is exactly what I have done.

Still, the rewards have been many.

I have had thousands of students share with me that my Vocabulary Formula has made an impact in their life.

Many of my students have reached dizzying heights of success in their chosen profession.

I have trained many coaches to carry out my original concepts and this has accelerated and multiplied our collective success.

Thousands have joined us on Facebook (and at The Vocabulary Project) and other social media.

It comes down to this.

Can an expanded vocabulary help a child succeed?

If this is true, will it help them become a better decision maker?

Will it help them get into college and discover their destiny?

Will it help them stay clear of gangs?

Will it help them become a productive member of society who leaves their positive imprint behind to guide future generations.

And on Labor Day, I think it is fair to reflect on such a thought.

What are we doing here?

Not just for ourselves.

But for others.
