It is amazing to this CPA and business coach how few businesses understand the concept of FREE!
In recent days, I have noticed many businesses giving away FREE gas cards with patronage of their business.
It's a great idea, but I mentioned this last year.
Why did it take so long for so many business owners to catch up?
Free Gas Cards is an excellent marketing idea because it allows your business to take advantage of words that are in the news: Gas, $4 a gallon, Energy Crisis, etc and direct a solotion at the doors of your business.
Of course your personal business has nothing to do with offering a solution to the business, but the giveaway of GAS cards will catch the eye of a potential customer faster than your product or service might.
On the other hand, your FREE! policy shouldn't be limited to just GAS cards.
I regularly advise business owners on how the four letter word FREE. applied to their personal business might change their business forever.
I bet I can find at least ten items you can give away FREE in your buisness which will dramatically increase your sales next month.
I will give you one FREE!

Neuroeconomics
A new book by Jason Zweig will have visualizers smiling.
It discusses about how images in our brain will often predict how we invest.
Imagine the brain forming images which impact behavior.
Sounds like visualization to me.
Something I have been writing and speaking about for 15 years.
Teach your brain to accept a course of action and you will have a prtner for life.
The book is titled YOUR MONEY AND YOUR BRAIN.

WE HELP KIDS DEVELOP GOOD MONEY HABITS
Good idea, right?
I mean what a better message to send to both kids and their parents (who will read this ad) about starting a savings program for their kids.
If you are a marketing maven, like I am, you will like it even better when you discover that this ad was run by a bank in an effort to visualize reaching current and potential customers.
The ad went on to indicate 3 types of new savings clubs dedicated to "children only."
It included a LOONEY TUNES SAVINGS CLUB for kids up to age 12.
A STARTING POINT ACCOUNT for teens.
And a YOUNG ACCOUNT for helping ages 18-23 transition into the real world.
The only thing missing was that this bank failed to visualize the rest of the story.
When I teach visualization, I ask my students to visualize as far and wide as they can.
If you are going to develop an idea to attract parents to your bank by opening the vaults to their children and consequently, netting more and more of mom snd dad's hard earned cash and fture obligations, why not go the extra mile.
You wouldn't run to the 50 yard line and fall down, happy to make to mid-field.
No, you would run the extra 50 yards for a touchdown.
You wouldn't soar to the basket for a slam dunk and then be satisfied with a quiet lay-up.
You wouldn't hit a towering homerun and then insist on stopping at 2nd base with a stand-up double.
No, you would take this seminal idea and visualize it to the end.
You would run with this idea and take it to the bank.
And that is what this bank didn't do.
You have all these parents jazzed to start their kids on education about money, something they are not likely getting at schools throughout America.
Why is that?
That is a subject for another time and day.
This bank could turn their great ad into a spectacular ad.
What is missing.
Visualize with me the following add on.
Beginning in June we will hold 3 classes
THE LOONEY TUNES CLASS (for ages up to 12)
THE STARTING POINT CLASS (for teens)
YOUNG SAVINGS (ages 18-23)
Kids are invited to bring their parents, childcare will be available on site, refreshments too).
We are committed to teaching your kids how to save and prosper.
Come to our free class to discover how it can work for your family.
Are you visualizing with me now?
If you apply visualization to your business, it can take off like never before.

Every 15 Minutes
Will your child die in a DUI ?
If you could teach them how to avoid this tragedy, wouldn't you want to pass on the information today before its too late?
Currently, I am writing a novella about how to save your child's life before they become a statistic such as what happens on our roads every 15 minutes.
I will soon reveal this gripping story.
Today, let me leave you with these points.
How to Save your Child From a DUI
Teach them to Visualize so they can anticipate the future.
Teach them the power of thousands of pounds of metal, plastic, glass and physics.
Show them by example that Drinking and Driving isn't practiced in your family
Ask them to Sign a Promise note which gives their word they will never drink and drive.
Have everyone in the family sign it.
Promote education such as demonstrated by organizers of Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Every 15 Minutes.
Write your lawmakers and persuade them to convince automakers to promote building devices on cars which will prevent DUI operators from starting a vehicle.
Most parents have no idea how to help their kids from driving drunk.
Now you have an idea.
Run with it, embrace it and share it with your kids.
In late 2008, DUI=DIE will be released.
If you are interested in learning more, drop me a line.
We can save our children from becoming life ending statistics, but we need a plan.
This is a start.

BIG BROWN AND VISUALIZATION
I have advised many athletes on how to apply visualization to get to the winner's circle.
The jockey of BIG BROWN, winner of this year's Kentucky Derby, shared his visualizing formula with the world after Saturday's race.
When asked if he envisioned winning this race, aboard the front runner for racing's Triple Crown (Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes), the diminutive jock's face lit up as he recalled the days leading up to the race.
I dreamed this race every night for the past several weeks.
I saw myself in the race and crossing the finish line first.
I believe when the race took place, I was the most prepared, because I was able to make the adjustments, since I had raced this race so many times before in my dreams.
What we have here is not only a dreamer.
We have a visualizer.
Now, he will forever be called a Kentucky Derby champion.
**************************
Alas, Visionaire wasn't in this race from the beginning.
I guess that means I can make progress with jockeys, but it might take a little bit longer to teach racehorses to visualize.

VISUALIZE YOUR STAIRCASE!
I was just forwarded a quote from a legendary visualizer.
Do you know who said these words?
I will reveal the source at the end of today's blog.
" Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase."
Business owners who apply visualization to their business know the meaning of this quote.
What do business owners who practice visualization each and every day have over their competition?
1. They reconnect with their customers and immediately increase sales thorough that connection.
2. Their visualization process helps them to attract new customers.
3. They discover ways for their business to make money while they are not working.
4. They sleep more soundly.
5. They have more time to spend with their family.
6. They find themselves smiling constantly.
Want to know how you can take the first step to your personal staircase?

Kentucky Derby, Visualization and Internet Radio
The Kentucky Derby post positions are in.
Watch out for #4 Court Vision and #8 Visionaire.
Can racehorses be visualizers?
We will find out on Sunday.
I will be watching.

*********************************
My radio show on Visualization might be coming closer to actuality.
The concept is to inform the public how visualization can impact your life at every level.
Becoming a visualizer can improve your business, your golf game and even your relationships.
If you ever wondered why certain people are always positive, upbeat and brimming with confidence and others walk this earth with the weight of their world on their back, you will want to tap into this formula which changes lives.
We will be discussing it on Internet Radio.
We are now lining up sponsors and guests who realize that the art of visualization can attract listeners to their products and services.
Stay tuned for the details.
