Man Saves Life By Walking!

Do you want to save your life?

Start walking!

Where do you say?

How about the Post Office?

Or maybe that little elementary school on the corner.

Perhaps there is a trail around the park where you see kids laughing and playing, but you never go.

And here is another rarely expressed thought about walking.

It won't only keep your healthy heart beating strong, but it will help you launch a new business, solve your money problems and help you deal with a difficult situation at work.

What?

Think about it.

When was the last time you had an uncluttered moment in your 24 hour day?

If you are like most Americans, you will sleep 8-10 hours per night.

This leaves about 14 hours in your day.

Most days of the week, you will allocate those fourteen hours to work, getting to and from work and short breaks for meals and if you are lucky, a brief interlude where you collapse in front of the TV in order that you can get to sleep, get up and do it all again.

Insanity!

But we do it, day after day.

So you begin to walk.

At first, you walk around the block and you might be surprised how winded you feel when you are finished.

But you are exhilarated as well and that feels good.

Your muscles are a bit strained, but it's not as hard on the body as jogging or lifting weights.

You like that.

You begin to walk more.

If you are studying mental imagery, you begin to fire up the mental monitor in your mind to accompany your thoughts.

Instead of thinking about what you have to do next, a new feeling of relation pervades your being.

You begin to think of you.

Your life, your goals, your journey.

The journey that begins with a single walking step might be the beginning of the greatest journey of your life.

It will enhance your senses.

It will add pictures to your thoughts.

It will keep you alive.

It all begins with that very first walk.

So after you have that big meal next Thursday.

Take a walk around the block.

By next Thanksgiving, you might have something to be very thankful for.

A very, very new you!
