ma•lign/məˈlīn/ Adjective: Evil in nature or effect: malevolent: "a malign influence". Verb: Speak about (someone) in a spitefully critical manner. Synonyms: adjective. malignant - pernicious - evil - malicious - noxious verb. slander - defame - vilify - libel - traduce - asperse To be critical of someone is part of society. A solid vocabulary has the ability to say it several ways. MALIGN is an excellent start. I like VILIFY as well and I believe we have seen PERNICIOUS before. In less than 100 words, we have seen three times the words that most have. How are you doing with those mental pictures?
