Magnum is an extra-large wine bottle trice the size of a regular wine bottle; a powerful hand gun firing large bullets. Clint Eastwood made the 357 magnum hand gun famous in his Dirty Harry movies. Maybe you see that big revolver to bring this word to mind. The key to my vocabulary formula is choosing a word that you would like to add to your vocabulary as if you were picking out something to add to your wardrobe. I am giving you a Gold Card and you have my permission to pick out anything you want from the Word Store. Be selective. Pick out something you are going to use. MAGNUM fits the criteria. It is a word wit meaning for entertainment and for crime and protection. Wear it well. What do you see?
