Having little or no detrimental effect; harmless: a chemical additive that is environmentally benign. 5. Medicine Of no danger to health; not recurrent or progressive; not malignant: a benign tumor. The baby boomer generation was also the sundrenched generation. Most of us who grew up in the northeast worshipped the sun. It was great in our 20’s and some of us are paying for it big time. Check your body out with your doctor and make sure they examine any suspicious miles or spots on your body. You might see a smiley face when you think BENIGN. I wish you a lifetime of smiley faces.
