Thomas on The Trolley

Time for me to meet Thomas on Trolley Way today. Thomas is 47 and maybe, a high school graduate. He was preaching before the rooster came up this morning, but he wasn’t preaching church. No, Thomas was preaching Obamacare. You see, Thomas wants Obama gone in November. Why? Obama isn’t even a citizen. He wasn’t born in America. He is taking all the education money for himself. I looked Thomas in the eye. You don’t really believe all of this, do you? Thomas didn’t know quite what to believe. He wasn’t used to having anyone at trolley stations challenge his beliefs. I surprised Thomas when I told him that our educational system was miserable and not fair. I would have studied aeronautics Thomas said with a straight face. Did he respect Obama for getting to Harvard Law School? No. And then I became Thomas’s best friend forever. You shouldn’t be working at a commissary. You should be telling people how to maintain a positive attitude. Thomas liked that. And I wasn’t making it up. You see her was a 47 year old man hanging on to the bottom rung of American society with little chance of achieving anything higher. He could afford the trolley and a bicycle and little more. He had a minimum wage job and nothing more. So why was he so damn positive, upbeat and cheerful. You will have to find Thomas on the Trolley as I did. And he will tell you. He should be sharing his message to all Americans. But we don’t do things that way. And that is sad. But Obama is still going to win in November. And that’s a given.
