Do you have a Movie of the Mind waiting to be filmed?
If you filmed a movie in your mind and replayed it often, would it change your life?
Others would benefit reading an essay about your movie.
Email me for a copy of the rules.
Then begin writing.
Begin Filming.
Begin changing your life.
And share your story with us.
We will help you change the lives of others.

Are you happy?
Many of my now happy Movie of the Mind students and coaches share with me that their unhappiness was the overpowering reason they were attracted to me and my philosophy of life.
Why were they unhappy?
Money and lack of it.
Career and unfulfilled desires.
Talents wasted and undiscovered.
Should I go on?
I will if you email me or one of my MOTM coaches.
While you manage to live trying to combat your growing unhappiness, I live to manage a life brimming with the amazement of what can happen when one discovers the life changing tools of Movies of the Mind.
How important do I think it is to the wonders I have attracted in my life?
Well, I ask you this.
How important is the air that we breathe?

The great majority of us are required to live a life of constant duplicity. Your health is bound to be affected if day after day you say the opposite of what you feel. If you grovel before what you dislike and rejoice at what brings you nothing but misfortune. Our nervous system isn’t just a fiction, it’s part of our physical body and our soul. It exists in space and is inside us like the teeth in our mouth. It cannot be forever violated with impunity.

Are you the director of your own life?
I have taught my students to make Movies of the Mind for over three decades.
It has the power to attract what is truly amazing in life.
There is only one way to live life.
Living life.
Every amazing day.
Join us and become one who lives an extraordinary life and inspires others to pass it forward.

Each year around the holidays, my heart and mind think of Kipling and this powerful poem which I have reprinted for you and your family this holiday season.
I feel quite certain that Kipling and I have met in one of my Movies of the Mind or one of his.
To all my students, past, present and future who have studied Movies of the Mind with me, this poem will have extra special meaning for you.
I urge you to share it this holiday season with those who are special in your life.
I know that my Movie of the Mind has me and my family enjoying a very special New Year.
For you and your family, I wish it will be your best year ever.

IF
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise.
If you can dream---and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build them up with worn out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch and toss,
And lose and start again at the beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on!”
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes or loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And---which is more--you’ll be a Man my son!

Books inspire words.
Words inspire pictures.
Pictures inspire Movies of the Mind
Two books on my holiday reading list are THE BOOK THAT CHANGED MY LIFE and BEYOND BASKETBALL.
They are books that inspire Movies of the Mind.
What is on your reading list for the New Year?
What will be your Movies of the Mind in 2007?

I took a walk today in California.
Blue skies, sun kissing my skin and my heart matching my steps keeping beat to the motion.
And the thought came to me.
Could there be a more glorious moment on earth than this?
I would have to share this thought with my coaches to gather their thoughts.
I think back to what a student once asked me at a lecture.
"Do you recommend walking for the health benefits?"
I recommend walking for the movies. The Movies of the Mind.

Writers write for various reasons. I write because my heart demands so. There is such freedom in the simple act of sitting there, holding up my hands, waiting to pound on the computer keyboard, waiting for words to pour from tips of my fingers and compose the melody of life from the faded tapestry of my past.
DA CHEN
And I would add. The power of writing flows much easier when you master Movies of the Mind.
