Entrepreneurs Struggle to Hang on Across the USA

Have you fired your copywriter yet?

Maybe you don't have anyone to help you use the power of words to attract business.

If you are an entrepreneur like those profiled in yesterday's USA TODAY Page One, you need something.

Because according to Mindy Fetterman, writer of the piece, America's entrepreneurs are in big trouble and it isn't going to get better anytime soon.

I know this.

If you are an entrepreneur and you haven't learned how to write or speak effectively to promote your own business, you may soon be out of business.

No matter how well you did 5 or 10 years ago, this is new territory.

Consider some of the quotes in this story.

Judy Robertson who runs Judy's Pet Depot in LA, says:

"The economy is very scary right now. As for me, being a small business owner, I've felt it."

In Atlanta, Steve Rayman owns nine car dealerships:

"It's devastating. We're 75% off. We're having to cut costs, trim budgets and trim spending. We're cutting 75%."

Samantha DiGennaro, founder of public relations agency DiGennaro Communications was thinking seriously of taking extra space to expand her business.

She has decided to put that off for now.

"This is not the right time. We can pile more people in my current space."

What does this mean for current entrepreneurs and those who have always dreamed of finally setting out to make it on their own?

Gloom and doom?

I think not.

All I know is that I continue to add students who are entrepreneurs or entrepreneurs in waiting who want to become skilled in writing and speaking to enhance their business and eliminate the costs of doing what they can easily learn to do for themselves.

Using the power of the written and spoken word to improve their skills and attract CASH now!

I will see you in class.
