WHO ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS?

Who are your customers?

I often ask my business owner students this interrogatory as an appetizer?

Who are your customers, clients, patients, etc.

Who are they?

Some entrepreneurs are caught off guard by my question.

What do you mean who are they? They are human beings like everyone else.

But I persist.

Have you taken the time to find out what makes them different than others?

Why would they be seeking you?

What is the common bond?

If they have bought from you before, have you a program in place to remain connected to them?

If you have sold a customer before, have you asked them directly why they first bought from you and kept a record of their response?

What are their interests?

What are their hobbies?

What makes them unique?

In discovering the uniqueness of those to whom you sell your products and services, you might very well discover your own uniqueness as well.
